About
The Chronikler is an award-winning site which seeks to shed an alternative light on contemporary events and ideas, from the controversial to the comic. Irreverent, insightful, illuminating and intriguing, it above all else takes readers on a thought-provoking trip through both the main avenues and back alleyways of Middle Eastern and Western societies, as it tucks into the great mash of civilisations and the annals of history in the making.
The website won the coveted 2012 Best of the Blogs (BOBs) for best English-language blog.
The Chronikler was founded, in 2009, by Khaled Diab.
