As long as I do not know (or wish to know) anything about the reader. Then, it is my right not to let the reader know anything about me.

However, it seems compulsory that I have to submit a biography in order to publish my story. Now, assume for the sake of argument, that I am not an Egyptian, nor that I was born in Cairo in 1970. Let’s also presume that I don’t work for a multinational travel agency. What difference would such false information make to you or to my story?
