@TracyQuanNYC Good initiative. It's similar to traditional practice in some Muslim societies. In Egypt, for example, there are so-called Tables of the Merciful where the poor or any passerby can break their fast free of charge.

Why this event should rile conservatives so much is literally beyond belief. Faith is, after all, a private matter. Nobody has the right to appoint themselves gatekeepers to a religion. In a secular society, nobody has the right to force their beliefs and prejudices onto others.
