Look for the mentalities -majority- that are found in the reigion -either regimes or citizens- and how everything is in conflict, even on the intellectual level where they fight each other instead of hearing each other. I am for that old Arabic Proverb: "Na3eeb Zamanouna wa Al-3aybo Fena" and I am wondering about the future for that matter! p.s. Personally, rather than imperial designs, I suspect that the UNDP wanted to avert military intervention in Iraq by stressing that sustainable change could only come from within.
